Clubs at Mason

ROAR Girls Mentoring Program supports mentees in 3rd-5th grade, female staff members mentor students one-on-one each week, and one monthly group meeting.

Dates: 09/18 Kick off breakfast, 10/30, 11,19,12/18, 01/22, 02/18, 03/19, 05/13 on Thursdays after school

Students will work on enhancing their art abilities through drawing and painting. Projects include the Mason Holiday Card Competition, decorating the Winter Holiday Tree, and designing the Mason Yearbook Cover.

This group meets to prepare for a variety of performances that will include a combination of singing, playing instruments, and creative movement.

January-March: Four of our Fifth-Grade students will participate in Gwinnett County's Elementary Honor Chorus.

Additional full-group performances may include February's Wax Museum and 5th Grade's Moving on Ceremony in May.

This is a fitness-based club where students will work on developing lifelong skills used to promote health and wellbeing. The students will work on increasing their cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, as well as their flexibility.

Time/Date:  All Fridays starting on Friday, 9/26 from 7:30-8:00

Where:  Students will meet in the lobby @ 7:30 then teacher will walk them to the main gym

Dues:  $30 for the entire school year

2nd and 3rd Grade Mason Elementary's Explore Club is part of First Lego League Explore, A Team-Based Program focused on Engineering, Design, Coding, and Creating Solutions with Lego Bricks Powered by Lego Education Spike Essential

K and 1st Mason Elementay School's Discover Club is part of First Lego League's Entry Level Program Dicover. Students are introduced to the fundamentals of STEM in a playful and fun way. It sparks students curiosity and promotoes their engagement with science and technology through activities using Lefo Duplo bricks.
